USA – Referres' designation for FIBA Americas Championship
SAN JUAN (FIBA Americas Championship) - The International Basketball Federation in Americas (FIBA Americas), established in San Juan, Puerto Rico, announced the list of referees and technical representatives which will be working during the FIBA Americas Championship 2007 in Las Vegas, USA
SAN JUAN (FIBA Americas Championship) - The International Basketball Federation in Americas (FIBA Americas), established in San Juan, Puerto Rico, announced the list of referees and technical representatives which will be working during the FIBA Americas Championship 2007 in Las Vegas, USA.
The list of 16 referees chosen by FIBA Americas will be active on 40 games during the men's
tournament, which will be taking place from August 22 to September 2, 2007.
Included in the list were six guest referees, with three of them from Europe.
FIBA Americas's Technical Director, Anibal Garcia, stated that those referees were selected because
of their performance in past international competitions, in which they represented our Zone brilliantly.
Also, FIBA Americas announced the names of the technical representatives, doctor, and evaluators
that will be present in the event.
The referees will be part of a Clinic, scheduled for August 20th to 21st, in Las Vegas also.
