DETROIT (NBA) - Detroit Pistons guard Chauncey Billups is expected to be sidelined for up to two weeks after suffering a calf strain during Friday's 93-92 loss to the Indiana Pacers.

Billups sustained the injury after falling during an attempted 3-pointer with 18 seconds remaining.

"When I saw the rebound come out, I kind of went to plant and take off to go after it," said Billups. "I felt a pop in there a little bit. When I went to take off to shoot, I was like, 'I just can't move.'

"So I hurt it before the shot. I knew it wasn't a cramp because I've had cramps before and I would have been able to come back. We just have to monitor it and see."

Billups, who is set to become a free agent in the offseason, is averaging 18 points and 8.1 assists in 28 games during his fifth season with Detroit.
