MILWAUKEE (NBA) - All of Milwaukee, and Australia, is breathing a sigh of relief after the return of Andrew Bogut to action.

The giant center, one of the NBA's best, was leading the Bucks into the NBA play-offs last season when a nasty fall saw him hit the sidelines with a fractured hand and sprained elbow.

He ended up missing the play-offs, and the FIBA World Championship in Turkey with the Boomers.

The seven-footer has played in a couple of pre-season games with the Bucks and should soon return to full fitness.

“It was only five or six months ago that I had one of the most gruesome injuries people have seen, and it’s a long rehab,” he said.

“It’s been very frustrating because even though you can’t play basketball, you can’t do a lot of daily activities, too.

“You can’t eat properly. You can’t write. You can’t get on the computer.

“It was a frustrating time for me. To be on the court running around right now is just a blessing.”
