PARIS (France) – hosts Greydy Diaz and former World Cup finalist Bas Rozendaal break down an incredible day of action for the USA, who had a perfect 2-0 record in both men and women’s categories.

PARIS (France) – In the latest instalment of the ‘Ten-Minute Sprint’, our live reaction show covering the Paris 2024 3x3 Olympic tournament, hosts Greydy Diaz and former World Cup finalist Bas Rozendaal broke down an incredible day of action for the USA, who had a perfect 2-0 record in both men and women’s categories.

Canyon Barry was Greydy’s player of the day after leading all scorers on Friday with 30 points combined against France (21-19) and China (21-17). The USA men’s team won both games despite playing without sub, following Jimmer Fredette’s groin injury.

The two hosts celebrated a day of big shots, which included Rhyne Howard’s cold-blooded buzzer beater from behind the arc in USA’s women’s overtime win against Canada (18-17). Add to the list Hailey Van Lith’s big 2 and Dearica Hamby’s winning drive in another nail-biter against France (14-13).

They also hopped on a call with FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2023 bronze medalist Kamile Nacickaite-Van der Horst, who shared her conflicting feelings watching her native Lithuania compete against her husband Dimeo Van der Horst’s Dutch team. The Netherlands were among the six teams who were undefeated on Day 4 (Germany, Spain women and Latvia’s men were the other three) and were named our team of the day.

Diaz and Rozendaal aka ‘The Mountain’ also sat down with FIBA 3x3 Chinese language commentator Paul Peng Fei to discuss China’s woes. Former 3x3 star Dan Mavraides also joined the show and shared another incredible day of action from Paris, with more celebrities and heads of state visits and what he described as the “loudest crowd he’s ever heard in 3x3”.

Our two hosts previewed the next phase of the Olympic tournament, talked strategy and compared their picks for player of the day.

To find out who they chose and which expert tops the fantasy and predictor games, sit down, relax and watch the Ten-Minute Sprint Episode 6.
