MONTEVIDEO (LUB) - Defensor Sporting extended their winning streak to 11 games with back-to-back victories which gives them a 14-3 record.

On Wednesday night, Gerardo Jauri's side needed overtime to win 94-90 over Atenas following a 78-78 draw in regulation play.
Diego Castrillon netted 25 points and David Jackson added 23.

Sporting had already defeated Trouville 85-80 on Monday, with Castrillon netting 20 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

Bigua sit just behind the leaders, having recorded 13 wins and five defeats.

MarceloSignorelli's team missed the opportunity to be even closer as they lost 101-91 at Welcome on Wednesday.

Last Saturday, Bigua demolished Paysandu 74-42 as Mark Bortz scored 18 points.
