MONTEVIDEO (LUB) - Paysandu have appointed Juan Andres Blanc as the new coach for the 2006-07 season in the Uruguayan LUB.
Blanc, the first coach confirmed for the upcoming season, becomes the third coach of Paysandu in the LUB after Pablo Lopez and Javier Espindola.
Club president Andres Piaggio will take over as team manager.
Blanc told urubasket.com: "It's a way to share the Board work.
"We'll build up a competitive team as supporters want."
Possible signings for the new season include Marcel Bouzout, Francisco Cabrera, Nicolas Castrillon and Fernando Soria.
The LUB is currently at the semi-final stage, while the new season will start in August and will run until January.
