LAUSANNE (Switzerland) - After a weekend off, the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2025 is back in action as this compelling season journeys to fan favorite Lausanne on August 15-16.
It's that time of year on the calendar when the WT makes a beeline to the Olympic capital and all eyes will be on red-hot Ub (SRB), who are looking for a fifth straight title as they power clear on the standings.
Ub once again have top billing, but face early tests against dangerous Hangzhou (CHN) and hometown heroes Lausanne (SUI), who will have the passionate crowd on their side.
Pool B is equally loaded with No.2 seed Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) desperate to end their surprising drought on this season's WT.
It's been a year since superstar Worthy de Jong was crowned Olympic MVP and he's aiming to get back on top of the mountain as he leads Amsterdam against Stefan Milivojevic's Partizan (SRB) and a Lugano (SUI) side featuring stars Malik Hluchoweckyj and Westher Molteni.
Pool C will be very unpredictable with three highly-rated teams set to slug it out on Day One. No.3 Miami (USA) will be looking to get back to their winning ways, but need to be on form from the get go against a desperate Riffa (BRN) and surging Valencia (ESP), who will be inspired by World Cup hero Ivan Aurrecoechea.
There will be a Pool D blockbuster between legendary Liman (SRB) and Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU), fierce rivals who bring out the best in each other. The third team in the group will emerge from a loaded QD featuring in-form Carolina (PUR), Barcelona (ESP) and Jurmala (LAT).
