SANTO DOMINGO (Dominican Republic) – The Head Coach of the Dominican Republic U16 National Team, Jonathan Matos, announced today the 12-players that will represent the country at the FIBA U16 Americas Championship 2019 in Belem, Brazil, from June 3-9.

The Dominicans will start the continental championship against Mexico in Group A action. The Dominicans will then face Argentina and USA to close-out the Group phase.
All the teams will advance to the Quarter-Finals on June 7. The Semi-Finals will be played on June 8 and the Final of the FIBA U16 Americas Championship will be played June 9.
The top four teams of the FIBA U16 Americas Championship 2019 will qualify to the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2020.
