It was a mixed evening for Turkish sides in European basketball Wednesday night with Efes Pilsen going down in a tight match and Galatasaray Cafe Crown winning an even tighter one.

Efes Pilsen lost a thriller against Greek outfit Aris TT Bank, losing 64 to 67, having been behind at all changes in their Group B match in the ULEB Cup.

By contrast, Galatasaray Cafe Crown increased its record to three wins in four games when it defeated CSU Asesoft Ploliesti Romania 83-81 in their Group C match.
