ISTANBUL (EuroBasket Women 2015) - Turkey coach Ekrem Memnun has just one more cut to make ahead of his EuroBasket Women coaching debut after releasing Pelin Bilgic and Tugce Murat from the preparation camp.

The 20-year-old Bilgic was a strong contender for the final squad but the guard has been ruled out after sustaining a partially torn ligament.

However, there will be a number of first-timers at a EuroBasket Women for Turkey in Oradea, Romania, since Pinar Demirok, Olcay Cakir, Esra Ural and Ayse Cora have never played at a major tournament for their country at the senior level and are still on the roster.

Meanwhile, Tilbe Senyurek and Cansu Koksal have never appeared at Final Round either, although both played at the FIBA Women's World Championship last year when Turkey hosted the event.

Turkey are preparing to face Belarus, Greece, Poland and Italy in the first phase of Final Round next week.

Turkey preliminary squad for EuroBasket Women 2015: Isil Alben, Bahar Caglar, Olcay Cakir, Tugce Canitez, Ayse Cora, Pinar Demirok, Saziye Ivegin, Cansu Koksal, Lara Sanders, Tilbe Senyurek, Esra Ural, Birsel Vardarli Demirmen, Nevriye Yilmaz.
