PHOENIX (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire turned on the style on Wednesday and fired 'Los Sons' past the San Antonio Spurs and into a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semi-finals.

Phoenix, showing support for Arizona's Latin American community by wearing 'Los Sons' jerseys, got 23 points and 11 rebounds from Team USA's Amare Stoudemire.

Nash had 10 points, six assists and three rebounds.

Center Channing Frye also drilled five of six three-balls on his way to 15 points for Los Suns.

Frye came up with a team-high two steals.

San Antonio's France international Tony Parker continued to come off the bench and play big minutes.

He had 20 points, seven assists and three boards in 36 minutes.

Former Team USA man Tim Duncan finished with a game-high 29 points and 10 rebounds for the Spurs.

Parker and Stoudemire are candidates to represent their national teams at the FIBA World Championship this summer in Turkey.

Game 3 is in San Antonio on Friday.

The return of Andrei Kirilenko from his calf-strain woes to the Utah Jazz line-up is expected to happen on Saturday.

The Russia international has missed 23 of Utah’s last 25 games but could have played in Game 2 of the Western Conference semi-finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Instead, he took the advice of Jazz trainers and doctors and decided to wait until Saturday.

It’s been a frustrating couple of months for Kirilenko, who is trying to remain upbeat.

"Everything's really like better than expected," Kirilenko said. "Those three, four days extra, they think it's going to help out a lot."

Kirilenko could find it tough after such a long lay-off.

"I'm trying to take it positive," Kirilenko said. "I'm trying to get ready for Saturday's game right now. My mind's trying to get better and better."

Lakers coach Phil Jackson says Kirilenko, Russia’s most famous player heading into the FIBA World Championship, will bring a new set of problems for LA to overcome.

“He's a guy with a reach and a shot-blocking ability that changes games up,” Jackson said.
