    TURKEY BOUND - Ilyasova dominates as Bucks rout Clippers

    MILWAUKEE (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Ersan Ilyasova of Turkey was in vintage form for the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday as they claimed a 107-89 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
     
    The former Barcelona star, one of the Turkey national team's most important players, came off the bench and poured in a team-high 20 points while also grabbing eight rebounds.
     
    Australia center Andrew Bogut finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and two blocks as the Bucks assured themselves of a .500 finish for the first time in six years.
     
    The win helped the Bucks strengthen their grip on fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
     
    They are 41-32 - a game and a half ahead of sixth-place Miami.
     
    Germany international Chris Kaman finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Clippers (27-47).
     
    Other players possibly headed to the FIBA World Championship were in action in the NBA and the Euroleague on Tuesday night and here is how some of them performed.
     
    Serbia

    • Nenad Krstic - The national team captain had 14 points and six rebounds to help Oklahoma City beat Philadelphia 111-93.
    • Milos Teodosic – The Serbia point guard had 12 points and nine assists for Olympiacos in their 81-78 defeat at Asseco Prokom in the Euroleague Quarter-Finals.

     
    Team USA

    • Russell Westbrook - A member of the USA Basketball national team squad for 2010-12, Westbrook had 14 assists to go with his 10 points for Oklahoma City in their victory at Philadelphia.
    • Kevin Durant - A near certainty to represent the United States in Istanbul, Durant had 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Thunder in their win over the Sixers.
    • Amare Stoudemire - The Phoenix Suns center scored 21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in a 111-105 win at Chicago.
    • Derrick Rose - The Chicago playmaker scored 23 points, dished out 10 assists and grabbed five rebounds in the loss to Phoenix.
    • Andre Iguodala – The Sixers guard had 21 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and three steals in the loss to Oklahoma City.

     
    Australia

    • Aleks Maric – The young center scored 16 points and added seven rebounds for Partizan Belgrade in their 81-73 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Euroleague Quarter-Finals.

     
    Brazil

    • Leandro Barbosa - The Suns shooting guard came off the bench and played 13 minutes, scoring five points.
    • Marcelo Huertas – The Caja Laboral point guard had just three points, two assists and two rebounds in a 66-53 win over CSKA Moscow in the Euroleague Quarter-Finals.
    • Tiago Splitter – The Brazil center finished with 15 points and seven rebounds in Caja’s victory over CSKA.

     
    Canada

    • Carl English – The sharpshooter scored just six points but also had six rebounds for Caja Laboral against CSKA.

     
    Russia

    • Sasha Kaun – The promising CSKA Moscow center had seven points and three rebounds in the loss to Caja Laboral.
    • Viktor Khryapa – The Russia star ended up with nine points, five rebounds, five assists, three assists and three steals against Caja Laboral.

     
    Croatia

    • Ante Tomic – The Real Madrid center scored 23 points but his team fell to Barcelona, 84-73, in the Euroleague Quarter-Finals.
    • Nikola Vujcic – The Croatia center had 13 points for Olympiacos in the defeat at Prokom.

     
    Lithuania

    • Linas Kleiza – Prokom held the Olympiacos star to just nine points on four of 12 shooting.
    • Darjus Lavrinovic – The Real Madrid man failed to score in just under five minutes of action against Barcelona.

     
    Greece

    • Theo Papaloukas – The Olympiacos guard had seven points, four rebounds and two assists in the loss to Prokom.
    • Sofoklis Schortsanitis – The Reds big man was held to just five points and one rebound by Prokom.
    • Ioannis Bourousis – The Greece center scored seven points, pulled down three rebounds and came up with two steals in the defeat to Prokom.

     
    Slovenia

    • Beno Udrih -  The Sacramento playmaker continued his fine play of late with 18 points, four assists and two steals but the Kings lost at Indiana 102-95.
    • Gordan Dragic - The Suns' backup point guard had three points, four assists, two rebounds and a steal for the Suns in their win at Chicago.
    • Jaka Lakovic – The Barcelona point guard made three of four shots from long range and finished with 13 points in the win over Real Madrid.
    • Erazem Lorbek – The Barca star had just four points and one rebound in the win over Madrid.

     
    Spain

    • Juan Carlos Navarro – The Spain veteran drilled four of six shots from behind the arc and finished with a game-high 24 points for Barca in their win over Madrid.
    • Ricky Rubio – Barcelona’s point guard had five points, five  rebounds, an assist and three steals against Madrid.
    • Fran Vazquez – The Barcelona big man scored six points and grabbed a rebound in the win over Madrid.
    • Felipe Reyes – The Real Madrid veteran scored seven points and had three rebounds against Barcelona.
    • Jorge Garbajosa – The Spain forward had five points and no boards for Real Madrid in the defeat to Barca.
    • Sergio Llull – The emerging Spain international scored 11 points for Madrid in their setback.

     
    France

    • Joakim Noah - The Chicago big man played 27 minutes and finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in the loss to Phoenix.

     
    Argentina

    • Andres Nocioni - The Sacramento forward scored nine points for the Kings in their loss to the Pacers.
    • Luis Scola - The power forward poured in 16 points and had eight rebounds for Houston in a 98-94 home triumph over Washington.
    • Pablo Prigioni – The Real Madrid point guard scored 10 points, dished out two assists and came up with two steals in the defeat to Barcelona.
