MUNICH (FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017 Qualifiers) - After being dogged by an injury crisis at EuroBasket Women 2015, Braslav Turic will have his big-hitters back on board when Croatia head into their EuroBasket Women 2017 qualifiers later this month.
The play-caller recently trimmed a 24-strong roster down to his final 14, for a pending road trip double in Estonia and Netherlands in Group B.
Ana Lelas, Antonija Sandric (née Misura) and Marija Rezan all return from injury - as does Jelena Ivezic, who was sidelined early at the Final Round.
Meanwhile Turic has been handed another significant boost with news that Shavonte Zellous is finally ready to pull on the vest for her adopted country.
The shooting guard was pencilled in to play earlier this summer, but the necessary paperwork was not completed in time for her to occupy the naturalised position at EuroBasket Women 2015.
Turic and his side will also face France in the fight to make it to Czech Republic for the Final Round 2017.
Croatia‘s 14-player roster:
Ana-Marija Begic, Iva Borovic, Iva Ciglar, Ruzica Dzankic, Luca Ivankovic, Ana Lelas, Mirna Mazic, Lana Packovski, Nina Premasunac, Marija Rezan, Antonija Sandric, Ivana Tikvic, Shavonte Zellous.
