    ISTANBUL (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Turkey's 15-man roster will come together and head for Antalya to begin their preparations for the 2010 FIBA World Championship.

    The Turks will stay in the southwestern city for five days (10-14 July) before heading up to Istanbul where they will practice at the Sinan Erdem Dome (16-19 July).

    The following day, the Turkish contingent will set off for Bormio, Italy, and spend 11 days (21-31 July) there with a specific goal in mind of increasing the players' physical fitness.

    After a month-long break in June, the squad will reconvene in Istanbul in early August (6-8) to compete in a tournament with Iran, New Zealand and Serbia.

    The following week, they will travel to Bamberg and go up against Croatia, Lithuania and hosts Germany in the Super Cup (13-15 August).

    Turkey's final tournament before the start of the FIBA World Championship will be the Efes Pilsen Cup in Ankara (19-23 August) with the field including Argentina, Canada and Lebanon.

    Turkey will play their first round games in Group C in Ankara and face China, Greece, Ivory Coast, Puerto Rico and Russia.
