ISTANBUL (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Turkey have returned home after a training camp in Bormio ahead of the FIBA World Championship.
Head coach Bogdan Tanjevic is delighted with how his team are shaping up as they prepare to host the tournament that tips off at the end of this month.
"They have been hard days but I'm feeling good," Tanjevic said.
"There will be more difficult days, but I believe we have the energy."
Tanjevic's squad worked mainly on conditioning while away, and will now get down to details in the final weeks before the tournament.
"Fortunately, we are all back from injuries," said captain Hedo Turkoglu. "I think we have done good work to get in condition. Next week, our preparations for the tournament really begins. We are reaching the required fitness for the games, so I think everything is good."
Milwaukee Bucks star Ersan Ilyasova added: "Morale has been high throughout the camp and we have worked well.
"We have a good period now until the tournament. Playing preparation matches is the best way to get our performances right."
