ISTANBUL (BEKO Basketbol Ligi) - Sarunas Jasikevicius had seven points in his third game with Fenerbahce to help the Istanbul club defeat Turk Telekom 83-68 at the weekend and remain top of the BEKO Basketbol Ligi.
The Lithuanian veteran left Lietuvos Rytas during the winter break in the hope of making it back to the EuroLeague Final Four, which he has won with Barcelona, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Panathinaikos.
The 34-year-old played 15 minutes against Turk Telekom.
He will make his Euroleague bow with Fener this week at Olympiacos.
Banvit are also 13-2 after an 82-65 triumph at Oyak Renault.
