    Quotes

Hasan Firat Okul (Turkey head coach): We wanted to be patient and pushed more in the last period to get the advantage we had to take (to reach the quarter-finals). We failed but this is very encouraging for the rest of the competition. Good luck to Russia. We now will aim to finish ninth.

Anna Arkhipova-Von Kalmanovich (Russia head coach): We showed the opposite of discipline. When you play at this level, you don’t relax. I am very angry. Every fourth quarter of every game has been terrible – even when we won.
