TUR - Kuqo leads Gala past Nymburk

NYMBURK (Eurocup) - Galatasaray's Ermal Kuqo tore apart CEZ Nymburk on Tuesday night as the Turkish club stayed firmly in the hunt for a spot in Eurocup quarter-finals.

Gala won the game, 77-62, to improve to 2-2 in Last 16 Group K.

Big man Kuqo (left in picture) made seven of 10 shots inside the arc and buried two of three from long range en route to a game-high 22 points.

Galatasaray trail Asefa Estudiantes and Pepsi Caserta, who are both 3-1.

Estu beat Caserta 90-80 on Tuesday with Nik Caner-Medley scoring 14 points and hauling in 13 rebounds.

Great Britain's Dan Clark also had 13 points for Estu.

Cajasol Sevilla are 4-0 in Group L and qualified for the quarter-finals after rolling to a 95-81 triumph at Alba Berlin (1-3).

The Spaniards got 21 points from Paul Davis and 18 from Louis Bullock.

Benetton Treviso are 3-1 and in second place following an 82-72 home triumph over Panellinios.

Treviso's Devin Smith scored 24 points against his former team.

In Group J, Budivelnik improved to 3-1 following a 77-72 victory at Le Mans (1-3).

Aris play at BG Gottingen on Wednesday night in the group's other game.

In Group I, Cedevita Zagreb drilled a Eurocup record 18 three-pointers at Gran Canaria and upset the Spanish side 89-86.

Bracey Wright and Damjan Rudez scored 23 points apiece for the winners.

UNICS also booked a quarter-final place after their fourth triumph in Group I, a 90-72 victory over visiting Hemofarm 90-72.

Cedevita are now second at 2-2 with Gran Canaria and Hemofarm both 1-3.
