    ISTANBUL (Beko Basketball Ligi) - Efes Pilsen maintained a one-game lead over Istanbul rivals Fenerbahce Ulker after wins for both sides in the latest round of Turkish top-flight action.

    Preston Shumpert and Igor Rakocevic scored 20 points apiece as Efes routed Bornova 94-67.

    Each player hit three shots from long range.

    Fener are in second place, and they kept pace with a 94-88 victory over Antalya.

    Former Turkey national team big man Mirsad Turkcan and Tarence Kinsey each scored 17 points for Fenerbahce, with the latter drilling five of seven shots from three-point range.

    Third-place Banvit edged Mersin 83-79 while the team directly behind them, Besiktas, lost ground following a 77-71 setback to Kepez.

    In other games, Galatasaray defeated Darussafaka 89-82, Turk Telekom won in double overtime 111-107 against Erdemir, Oyak Renault edged Aliaga 74-72 and Karsiyaka thrashed Tofas Bursa 96-71.
