TREVISO (Lega A) - Turkey’s Engin Atsur is making the transition from big-time college basketball in America at North Carolina State to life in Lega A with one of Italy’s most famous teams, Benetton Treviso. Benetton, who are coached by Atsur’s compatriot Oktay Mahmuti, have had a poor season and will do well just to make the play-offs, with Sunday’s setback at Lottomatica Roma leaving the northern Italian side third-bottom in the standings. Atsur, who could be the starting playmaker for his country when it hosts the 2010 FIBA World Championship, is optimistic the good times will return to the Palaverde.
