    TPE - Taipei announce roster for East Asia Championship

    TAIPEI CITY (26th FIBA Asia Championship) - A trio of mainstays who plied their trade in China's high-profile CBA league lead the Chinese Taipei roster announced for the 2011 East Asia Championship to be held in Nanjing between 8 and 15 June.

    Forwards Lin Chih-chieh of Zhejiang GL, Chen Hsin An of DongGuan Leopards and point guard Lee Hsueh-lin of Bejing Ducks are the prominent names as Chou Jun-san announced his 12-man squad that will attempt to earn one of the three berths available for the 26th FIBA Asia Championship.

    The FIBA Asia Championship is to be held in Wuhan (China) between 15 and 25 September.

    With China already qualified as hosts, three places are up for grabs from the tournament in Nanjing.

    Japan, by virtue of finishing runners-up at the 3rd FIBA Asia Stankovic Cup in Beirut last year, earned an additional berth for East Asia.
