    MIES (Switzerland) - France 3x3 star Migna Touré was elected MVP of the first edition of the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series by a panel of players and fans on October 10, 2019,

    The 24-year-old was key for France in their title run this season. She was the leading scorer for 'Les Bleues' with 198 points in 38 games. She was 3rd overall in points and 2nd in drives and total highlights.

    The number 2 player in the world contributed to 5 of the 6 titles France won this year at the Women's Series (Turin, La Rochelle, Ekaterinburg, Debrecen and Udine).

    She was the only player to score 3 buzzer beaters this year. These shots all came in crucial games. Touré hit the shot which sent France and Russia to overtime and then gave France the win on a drive in the final of the Ekaterinburg Stop. She also buried the two-pointer for the win in the final of the Udine Stop in overtime against the Netherlands. 

     The spectactular 5ft 11in (1.80m) player was 1st overall in the fans vote, (2,104 votes, 41.4%), narrowly edging out 2018 MVP Rae Lin D'Alie (2,006 votes, 39.5%) and the number one 3x3 player in the world Laetitia Guapo (3rd). Katherine and Michelle Plouffe (both Canada) finished 4th and 5th respectively.

    The Europe Cup 2018 MVP finished 2nd in the players vote behind teammate Guapo but ahead of D'Alie, Katherine and Michelle Plouffe.

    Touré tallied 10 points (6 for 1st place and 4 for 2nd place) and narrowly edged out her teammate Guapo (one 1st place and one 3rd place meaning 9 points), D'Alie (7 points), Katherine Plouffe (4 points) and Michelle Plouffe (2 points).

    The Nevers native had a dream season in 2019 with the Women's Series title, gold at the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup and bronze at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup.
