TAIPEI (Taiwan) - After falling short at the last hurdle in Macau, top seed Paris (FRA) will be extra determined to go all the way at the FIBA 3x3 Taipei Challenger 2024 on October 26-27.
Let's take a closer look at the 21st Challenger of 2024.
The Favorites
We just have to start with Paris, whose quest for a third title this year will have to be achieved without superstar Franck Seguela.
But the Frenchmen still boast plenty of firepower with Hugo Suhard on fire in Macau, while excitement machine Paul Djoko will make sure that Paris have plenty of highlight plays.

Paris won't have it easy because this is a loaded draw with second seed Partizan Meta Force (SRB) having made the semis in Macau. The Serbs are desperate for more success having won only one title in 2024 and that just means Stefan Milivojevic will be an enforcer on the half-court.
No.3 Princeton (USA) also have only one title to show for during a consistent year, where their superstar Henry Caruso has constantly flexed on opponents.
San Juan Church's (PUR) are the fourth seed and we just have to mention them even though they have remarkably not broken through this year. That could well change if sniper Antonio Ralat goes on a heater.

The Field
There are plenty of contenders in this deep draw with Utrecht (NED) starting to emerge on the scene. Nesta Agasi is a high flying Dutchman and he's reaching for the stars.

Podgorica Kodio (MNE) are in a form drought having not gotten out of Day One in their last three events, but we all know they are always a dark horse contender.
Sports teams from New Zealand always punch above their weight and Christchurch BBNZ (NZL) will be no exception, while a slew of teams from Taipei will be willed on by their loud fans.
