DEBRECEN (Hungary) - The top players will be extra motivated to be at their absolute best at the FIBA 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament 2024 on May 16-19 in iconic 3x3 destination Debrecen.

DEBRECEN (Hungary) - This is the very last chance, where Olympic dreams will either come true or turn into a nightmare.

And the top players will be extra motivated to be at their absolute best for the FIBA 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament 2024 on May 16-19 in iconic 3x3 destination Debrecen.

    Antonio Ralat (Puerto Rico)

This Puerto Rican sniper might just need an extinguisher when he arrives in Debrecen because he is flaming hot right now.

Ralat has been scorching the rims in an early season heater with his latest masterpiece being a tour de force at the Hongcheon Challenger

The 27-year-old has clearly gone up a level, but he's not done yet. After an unsuccessful attempt in Utsunomiya, Ralat has one last opportunity to get Puerto Rico into the Olympics.

With his ability to perform miracles in the clutch, you would be foolish to bet against Ralat lifting his proud 3x3 country into the Olympics.

    Franck Seguela (France)

It won't quite feel right if hoops powerhouse France aren't represented in men's 3x3 at the Paris Games.

But nothing is guaranteed and Les Bleus will rely on their scoring machine to get them a return ticket that means much more than just getting back home.

Seguela was one of the most spectacular players on the World Tour last year when he ascended to the top tier. He looms as the missing piece for France, who made a deep run in Utsunomiya but fell short without their leader.

    Anand Ariunbold (Mongolia)

The Mongolian superstar will be hoping for third time lucky after coming up short twice before. After unusual struggles in Hong Kong, 'The Archer' was back on target in Utsunomiya as he inspired his team to a semi-final run.

Ariunbold has already created one of the highlights of 2024 after his superhuman performance at the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2024 led a shorthanded Mongolia to the bronze medal.

When he's cooking, there isn't anything tastier on the half-court.

    ...

    Thibaut Vervoort (Belgium)

This brilliant Belgian has experienced the Olympics before after lighting up Tokyo, where his heroics inspired his country to reach the bronze medal game.

That was when 'Must See TV' had become the hottest show in 3x3 and we've seen some ups and downs since. But this current season promises a return to peak Vervoort, who at his best is like if you typed 'how to create the perfect 3x3 player' in AI.

The 6ft. 5 in (1.96m) athletic marvel is a pure shooter, but also can blow by defenders and finish with the hammer. Don't flick the channel, because 'Must See TV' is starting very soon.

    Natan Jurkovitz (Switzerland)

There are loads of players deserving a ticket to Paris, but few more than this high-flying Swiss star who has been entertaining fans for years.

Real ones will remember when he burst onto the scene with his rim-shaking slams and this 6ft. 8in (2.02m) bulldozer has not lost any of his spring.

When he's in attack mode, there aren't many scarier prospects for opponents than Jurkovitz tearing down the lane. We don't know if he'll get to Paris, but it's guaranteed that he'll be in overdrive in Debrecen.

    ...

    Denzel Agyeman (Germany)

He's one of the hottest prospects in 3x3 and this German prodigy is ready to prove that he's more than ready for the big stage.

The 19-year-old goes on a dunking spree every time he steps on the half-court as many sorry defenders know all too well having been turned into posters.

Agyeman is not just flash because he's a born winner as he aims to steal the show in Debrecen while hanging off the rims.

    ...

    Elly Randriamampionona (Madagascar)

You think spelling this dude's surname is hard? Try defending him. There is good reason why Randriamampionona is one of Africa's best players because he's a certified bucket getter.

He's already led Madagascar to Africa Cup glory and now he's ready to shock the world in Debrecen. If he does that then he will become a household name.
