SINGAPORE - The temperature is set to soar in Singapore as the best male players on the continent unleash their electrifying skills at the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2025 on March 26-30.
Here are the six players you just have to watch.
Anand Ariunbold (Mongolia)
What's the greatest ever moment at the Asia Cup? It might have been from two years ago when Anand Ariunbold stepped up with a clutch three-point play to dethrone three-time defending champion Australia.
He instantly became Mongolia's hero after helping them reclaim the continental crown and we just had to give Ariunbold a dope nickname - hence why 'The Archer' was born. Ariunbold is back at a favorite hunting ground and you just know he'll be on target in Singapore.
Hanyu Guo (China)
You know what is surprising? Powerhouse China have never won the Asia Cup in the men's draw before. In fact, they've never reached the final but they bring a talented team to Singapore in a bid to end that drought.
They will unleash familiar names, none more so than this explosive 30-year-old who you remember from dominating for Beijing on last year's World Tour. He has unfinished business having been part of China's team that agonizingly missed a podium finish at the Asia Cup in 2023.
Ryo Ozawa (Japan)
Similar to China, Japan has historically underperformed in the men's draw of the Asia Cup. They've only won the sole bronze medal but are out to change that in Singapore. And their hopes might just rest on the shooting of Rya Ozawa, who can be a flat out samurai with the Wilson in his hands.
The 26-year-old might not be much taller than Kevin Hart, but he's deadlier than sake and can go on a heater whenever he pleases.
Alex Higgins-Titsha (Australia)
Welcome to the newest 3x3 star after this high-flying Aussie took the world by storm with a scene-stealing performance at the first-ever Champions Cup. In his first major 3x3 event, the 24-year-old showcased his unreal athleticism and went on a dunking spree. He also loves a block party and has good touch from deep.
This dude can hop like a kangaroo and is set to be a fan favorite in Singapore. There will be big expectations with Australia bringing a new line-up compared to the team that stormed to the title 12 months ago. But they should be in good hands with Higgins-Titsha, who has immediately become a must-watch player.
Chanatip Jakrawan (Thailand)
Fresh off hosting the amazing Champions Cup, spirits are high in Thailand and now the country wants some silverware. They have good reason to dream big because Thailand have done well in the men's draw previously at the Asia Cup.
Last year they made the quarters with the towering Jakrawan leading the way with a domination of the paint. He was almost perfect from down low and he's also a monster on the defensive end.
With the big fella anchoring the middle, Thailand can go on a deep run in Singapore.
Khoa Dang Tran (Vietnam)
Vietnam might be the 20th seed, but they are more than capable of going on a giant-killing run. They will lean on this 28-year-old , who has a bucket load of previous experience at the Asia Cup including having journeyed to Singapore in 2022.
He can do a little bit of everything on the half-court and is capable of scoring binges. There is little doubt he is Vietnam's talisman who loves defying the odds.
