    MUNICH (Germany) - The all-time top 100 list of scorers at FIBA EuroBasket is filled with legends of the European game.

    Just four players have managed to break the 1000-point milestone in the competition's history, and there could be some new additions when the 2025 edition gets underway.

    1. Pau GASOL

    Pau Gasol holds the number one spot in the top 100 scorers in EuroBasket history having passed Tony Parker in his final appearance in the tournament in 2017. The legendary center announced his retirement last year having won three EuroBasket titles with Spain amongst seven medals at the event. Gasol was MVP in the triumphs in 2009 and 2015 - leading the competition in scoring in both editions as well as in 2003. He also made the All-Tournament Team on each of his seven appearances.

    2. Tony PARKER

    Parker had taken over as the leading scorer in EuroBasket history at the 2015 edition before being surpassed two years later. The French legend played a total of 66 games at the tournament for France in eight appearances with the highlight being the title-winning effort of 2013. It was Parker's third time on the All-Tournament Team with 19.0 points per game having also won a silver medal in 2011 as well as bronze on two occasions, 10 years apart including his final appearance on home soil in 2015.

    3. Dirk NOWITZKI

    A current EuroBasket ambassador, Nowitzki represented Germany at seven different EuroBasket appearances the last of which coming in 2015, and is renowned as being a modern European great. Nowitzki claimed the MVP award in 2005 after leading Germany to a silver medal with a dominant 26.1 points and 10.6 rebounds per game in Serbia and Montenegro. The forward also led the tournament in scoring in 2001 and 2007 and made the All-Tournament Team on three occasions in total.

    4. Nikos GALIS

    An elite scorer, Galis is one of just four players to have amassed 1000+ points in EuroBasket history and did so in just 33 appearances - holding the record as the all-time leading scorer until 2015. Galis topped the tournament's scoring charts on four occasions and led Greece to the title in 1987 as MVP with 37.0 points per game including a 40-point effort in the final. He also won a silver medal in 1989 with 35.6 points per outing.

    Brabenec does make it into the top five scorers in EuroBasket history having featured in a total of eight tournaments from 1971-1987. The shooting guard won the first of two bronze medals in 1977 before a second followed four years later, and helped Czechoslavakia upgrade to silver in 1985 with 17.9 points per game in his penultimate appearance.

    8. Emiliano RODRIGUEZ

    Rodriguez earned the honor of EuroBasket MVP in 1963 after putting up 19.8 points per game for Spain in the midst of seven consecutive appearances in the tournament. The small forward was not able to win a medal for Spain, but twice averaged 20+ points per game as a prolific scorer during the 1960s.

    Korac made an immediate impression on his debut at EuroBasket in 1959 for Yugoslavia with 27.6 points per game as the tournament's leading scorer. The forward then claimed the MVP award two years later after securing a silver medal before adding a bronze in 1963 followed by another silver in his final appearance having amassed 800+ points in just 34 games before tragically passing away at the age of 30.

The point guard averaged just shy of 20 points per game in both the 1993 and 1995 editions with Giannakis moving into coaching and leading Greece to another EuroBasket title in 2005 in his second spell in charge.

He was MVP in the 1967 title triumph and made the All-Tournament Team an incredible six times before later coaching Russia to a medal in 1997 to add to his legacy.

    14. Stephane OSTROWSKI

    16. Goran DRAGIC

    The EuroBasket MVP in 2017. Dragic helped lead Slovenia to a historic title eight years ago in TΓΌrkiye. He averaged 22.6 points and 5.1 assists per game as captain in 2017 with his tournament debut coming a decade earlier with six appearances in total. Dragic then came out of retirement for one final time at the 2022 edition.

    17. Wayne BRABENDER

The center was a two-time MVP and made the All-Tournament Team on five occasions before later leading Yugoslavia to another medal as head coach in 1987.

    19. Dragan KICANOVIC

Petrovic's tragic death at the age of 28 came after Croatia had qualified for EuroBasket 1993.
