MUNICH (Germany) - The locations and tip-off times for the opening window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers have been confirmed.
There are 32 nations ready to get their campaigns underway in the First Round as teams battle to make it the global showpiece event in Qatar 2027.
The participating teams have been split into eight groups of four teams as they play in a round-robin format across three windows - taking place in November-December 2025, February-March 2026 and July 2026.
The top three teams in each group will advance to the Second Round of the European Qualifiers where they will join three teams from another group.
All teams will carry over the results from the First Round, ensuring every single game has meaning in the Road to Qatar 2027.
A total of 12 teams from Europe will qualify for the World Cup.
