Ludhiana - Three players including Sukhbir Dhillon (Punjab), Ravi Kasual (Karnataka) and Adatya Biswas of Delhi have been selected for the RBK Asian National Basketball Association (NBA) camp to be held in China. This was disclosed by the Indian Basketball Federation (IBF) secretary general, Harish Sharma, on Sunday. He was talking to the media during the 57th Dhanoa Junior National Basketball Championship in progress at Guru Nana Sports Complex.

Harish also told that, "Legendary Robert Reid will come to Ludhiana on June 4 to give some vital tips to the Indian players and coaches. The Basketball Federation of India (BFI) will select 25 coaches for this training session".

"We have also made a request to NBA through the Federation De Internationale Basketball (FEBA) to hold the next session of RBK Asia NBA Camp in India," Harish quipped.

On the issue of the future of the game he said, "We are sending players to other countries to provide them advance training. Our players are making their presence felt at the international level as Gitu Anna Josh of Karnataka will be playing in the Professional League in Australia while Robinson of Tamil Nadu will participate in the same event in Iran. With such developments the future of the game seems to be very bright."
