MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas, in collaboration with the Nicaraguan Basketball Federation, has announced the game schedule for the FIBA AmeriCup 2025, which will take place in Nicaragua from August 22 to 31. All games will be played at the Polideportivo Alexis Argüello in the city of Managua. The Group Phase will run from August 22 to 26. The action will continue on August 28 with the Quarterfinals, followed by the Semifinals on August 30, and the Third Place Game and the Final on August 31.
The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the Quarter-Finals. The eight teams advancing to the Quarter-Finals will be ranked from 1 to 8 based on their final position in the Group Phase. The Quarter-Finals winners will then advance to the Semifinals round where they would compete for a spot into the Gold Medal game, while the losing teams will play for the Bronze Medal.
