MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA U17 South American Championship 2025 will take place at the Centro de Entrenamiento Olímpico COP in Asunción, Paraguay, as announced by the FIBA Regional Office in the Americas. The tournament will be held from December 10 to 14 and will feature the participation of the national teams of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay and Venezuela, along with hosts Paraguay. The top three teams will qualify for the FIBA U18 AmeriCup 2026. In the most recent edition of the event (2023), held in Colombia, Argentina took the gold medal, followed by Venezuela with silver and Brazil with bronze. FIBA
