SUMGAIT (Azerbaijan) - The FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2026 heads to Azerbaijan as a loaded field prepares to battle at the Sumgait stop on June 20-21.
Home favorites Neftchi SOCAR (AZE) enter the tournament as the top seed, fresh off winning the recent FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Orleans in France. They will aim to continue their impressive season in front of their home fans. The Azerbaijani side has consistently been among the leading teams on the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series circuit and will once again be expected to contend for the title.
Second seeds Germany (GER) arrive with a talented roster capable of challenging for top honors, while Australia (AUS), seeded third, bring their trademark physicality and experience to Sumgait. Austria (AUT) complete the top four seeds and will also fancy their chances in what promises to be a highly competitive event.
Ukraine (UKR), Japan (JPN), Chile (CHI) and China (CHN) round out the top eight seeds, highlighting the global depth on display in Sumgait.
The tournament also features several dangerous challengers outside the top seeds. Chinese side Yanjing (CHN) enter as the ninth seed, while Slovakia (SVK), Thailand (THA) and Egypt (EGY) will all be looking to make deep runs.
