Star power on display: Players to watch at FIBA 3x3 WT Chengdu 2026

Momentum, debuts and redemption arcs shape Chengdu’s key player storylines

CHENGDU (China) – With a stacked field ready for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Chengdu 2026, the spotlight falls on a group of in-form players, new additions and rising stars set to shape the tournament.

Here are the names to watch as FIBA 3x3 World Tour action opens this weekend at the Jiaozi Music Square in Chengdu.

    Niklas Kropp - Skyliners (GER)

Kropp arrives as one of the hottest players on the planet after a breakout performance at the FIBA 3x3 WT Utsunomiya Opener, where he led everyone in terms of player value. The German standout combined scoring, confidence and composure, and if he keeps that level, Skyliners will once again be a serious threat.

    Stefan Milivojevic - Liman (SRB)

Liman are riding high after their title run in Utsunomiya, and they could be even dangerous with Milivojevic seeing action here in Chengdu. He will undoubtedly be an important piece in their system. The newest addition to the Serbian squad will be looking to build on that success and help sustain their winning momentum.

    Guim Exposito - DeQing (CHN)

One of the most anticipated World Tour debuts in Chengdu belongs to Exposito. The 3x3 World Cup 2025 MVP brings elite scoring ability and big-game experience, and his arrival could elevate DeQing into a dangerous contender.

    Filip Kaluderovic - Ub (SRB)

Ub may have fallen short of the title in Utsunomiya, but Kaluderovic showed promising signs in his role with the world No.1 team. With more rhythm and confidence, he could be key to Ub’s push to the top in Chengdu.

    Mitch Hahn - Miami (USA)

Miami will be eager to respond after failing to defend their title in Utsunomiya, and Hahn is central to that effort. Known for his energy and scoring instincts, he will be tasked with helping the Americans bounce back in Chengdu.

Anand Ariunbold - Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL)

Ariunbold carries the weight of expectation as one of the leading figures for Ulaanbaatar this season. With the Mongolian team expected to continue rising on the World Tour, his ability to deliver under pressure could be pivotal in Chengdu.

With breakout performers, title winners and hungry contenders all in action, FIBA 3x3 WT Chengdu 2026 promises another thrilling showcase of elite 3x3 basketball talent.
