BELGRADE (Superleague) - Injury-plagued Red Star sprung the biggest upset of the Superleague's 10th round after a surprise 78-66 victory over leaders Hemofarm.

Red Star were missing several key names, with playmaker Steven Markovic, forward Mirko Kovac and centres Pero Antic and Kebu Stewart all sidelined, while the league's MVP Milan Gurovic played despite pains in his ankle.

But former Hemofarm player Nenad Misanovic returned to haunt his former team, netting 20 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Former Yugoslavian international Milenko Topic top scored with 13 points for the home side.

Despite the win, Red Star stay fourth with six wins and four defeats, while Hemofarm are joined in top spot by both Partizan and FMP, all three sides having won eight and lost two.

"We knew victory is not a must for us in this kind of situation so we played without nerves," said Red Star coach Stevan Karadzic.

"This was great performance by all of our available players, maybe our best of the whole season, but we know the play-offs are still far away."

Hemofarm's defeat opened the door for their rivals for first place and both grabbed it.

Partizan brushed aside bottom club Sloga 93-68, Luka Bogdanovic leading the way with 14 points, while FMP crushed Masinac 104-75, Dragan Labovic, Bojan Krstovic and Predrag Samardziski pouring in 15 points apiece.

Elsewhere, Vojvodina racked up their fifth win of the season with a 80-71 win over Mega Ishrana, who stay second bottom after slipping to their eighth defeat.
