MIAMI (United States) – The Youth competitions return to South America with the FIBA U18 Americas qualifying tournaments for both Men and Women.

The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas has officially confirmed the South American U18 Championship will be played in Caracas, Venezuela in the Gimnasio Jose Joaquin "Papa" Carrillo from 21st to 26th March, while the South American U18 Women's Championship will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 4th to 9th of April in the historic Estadio Obras Sanitarias.
