MARIBOR (FIBA World Championship) - Slovenia pulled away from Venezuela in the fourth quarter to claim an 88-61 triumph. Both teams are preparing for the FIBA World Championship in Japan, which tips off on August 19. Slovenia got 14 points from Marko Milicic and 13 apiece from Bostjan Nachbar and Sani Becirovic.

Both teams are preparing for the FIBA World Championship in Japan, which tips off on August 19, and the European side stormed out to a 30-8 lead only for the South Americans to fight back and trail 39-30 at half-time.
Ales Pipan's team, which got 14 points from Marko Milicic and 13 apiece from Bostjan Nachbar and Sani Becirovic, marched to victory in the fourth quarter.
