ISTANBUL (2010 FIBA World Championship) - The Dragic brothers will have to wait before they team up together in a Slovenia shirt after coach Memi Becirovic's decision to make Zoran one of his final two cuts.

Dino Muric was also deemed surplus to requirements by Becirovic, who will lead his team in Istanbul against Team USA, Croatia, Brazil, Iran and Tunisia in Group A of the FIBA World Championship.

Goran Dragic, who is emerging as one of the finest point guards in the NBA as the back-up to Steve Nash in Phoenix, is in the 12-man group along with several others that reached the Semi-Finals of last year's EuroBasket in Poland.

Goran Dragic, Uros Slokar, Jaka Lakovic, Sam Udrih, Bostjan Nachbar, Goran Jagodnik, Jaka Klobucar and Primoz Brezec all helped the Slovenians on their great run to the last four in Katowice.

Veteran Sani Becirovic, the son of coach Becirovic, is back in the group after taking last summer off.

There are also places for centers Hasan Rizvic, Miha Zupan and Gasper Vidmar.

Lakovic is the captain of the Slovenians, who open their FIBA World Championship campaign against Tunisia on Saturday.
