    BERLIN (Germany) - The third day of action at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup is done and dusted and there were a number of stellar individual displays to enjoy inside the Berlin Arena.

    Imani Stafford-McGee had her best ever game in a Puerto Rico vest and while it wasn't quite enough to avoid a 76-64 loss, she produced the highest performance efficiency valuation of the day at 28. That came thanks to a monstrous double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds.

    One of the main reasons that the Cats took the win was a fine contribution from playmaking ace Julie Allemand. The Belgian standout flirted with a triple-double by claiming 11 points, 10 boards and 8 assists.

    China were left breathing a sigh of relief as they squeezed past Czechia 74-70 in an overtime thriller. It was Xu Han who carried her team brilliantly. The China captain went to work and harvested a majestic 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists.
