DAKAR (FIBA World Championship) - There were several notable absentees from Senegal’s squad for the FIBA World Championship. The Senegalese will not have Boniface N'Dong, the most valuable player of last year's FIBA Africas Championship.
DAKAR (FIBA World Championship) - There were several notable absentees from Senegal’s squad for the FIBA World Championship.
NBA players Boniface N’Dong and DeSagana Diop were both overlooked.
"N’Dong was injured," explained Senegal coach Moustapha Gaye. Gaye would not set any targets for Senegal in Japan which get underway later this month.
"We have no minimum requirement," said Gaye.
