MUNICH (Germany) - The seedings for the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers First Round Draw, set to take place in Munich, Germany on July 23, have now been announced.
There are 27 nations competing in the First Round that will be split into six groups of four teams and one group of three teams.
FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 co-hosts Belgium, Finland, Lithuania and Sweden are automatically qualified for the event, and will be placed into Group H - playing their games across the First and Second Round windows.
Meanwhile, Czechia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain and Türkiye will enter from the Second Round, as they will compete in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments in March 2026.
The participating teams have been seeded based on an internal update of the FIBA World Ranking Women, presented by NIKE to include the results of FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025.

The draw for the First Round takes place on Wednesday, July 23 at 13:00 CET in Munich, Germany.
