    RUS - Russians on the move

    MOSCOW (Superleague) - Former Russian internationals Vasily Karasev and Igor Kudelin are on the move to clubs in Russia and the Czech Republic, respectively. Superleague outfit Universitet Surgut have signed the 35-year-old Karasev for the remainder of the season. Karasev, a point guard who began this season with Ural Great, captained the Russian national team and was a key member of the side that finished runners-up to Yugoslavia at the 1998 FIBA World Championship in Athens

    MOSCOW (Superleague) - Former Russian internationals Vasily Karasev and Igor Kudelin are on the move to clubs in Russia and the Czech Republic, respectively.

    Superleague outfit Universitet Surgut have signed the 35-year-old Karasev for the remainder of the season.

    Karasev, a point guard who began this season with Ural Great, captained the Russian national team and was a key member of the side that finished runners-up to Yugoslavia at the 1998 FIBA World Championship in Athens.

    Kudelin, 34, was a deadly three-point shooter in his prime who also played for Russia in 1998, and CSKA Moscow.

    He has joined Prostezov and already made a big impact, scoring 25 points in the club's 110-79 triumph over Brno.
