The All Africa Games qualifiers and the African Championship qualifiers are due to start in Zimbabwe on the 24th of February. However, this clashes with the date of the final of the Professional Basketball League which is supposed to occur on the same day at Mandeville in Johannesburg. South Africa has proposed that the qualifiers be postponed until the 26th or 27th of February so that the qualifiers do not interfere with the PBL final.
