    16 teams remain in the hunt to be crowned champions in Riga.

    RIGA (Latvia) - FIBA EuroBasket 2025 heads into the Final Phase with the Round of 16 matchups and tip-off times now finalized.

    The top four teams in each of the four groups across four host cities booked their spots in the knockout stages, with the last tickets claimed by Bosnia and Herzegovina and Georgia, on Thursday.

    A new champion will be crowned in the Latvian capital after 2022 winners Spain were eliminated in Group C action with a loss against Greece.

    Final Phase hosts Latvia will go up against Baltic neighbors Lithuania in one of the headline matchups, as well as a meeting between Italy and Slovenia.

    The Round of 16 matchups, and timings, are as follows:

    Saturday, September 6

    Türkiye vs Sweden - 12:00 local (11:00 CET) Germany vs Portugal - 15:15 local (14:15 CET) Lithuania vs Latvia - 18:30 local (17:30 CET) Serbia vs Finland - 21:45 local (20:45 CET)

    Sunday, September 7

    Poland vs Bosnia and Herzegovina - 12:00 local (11:00 CET) France vs Georgia - 15:15 local (14:15 CET) Italy vs Slovenia - 18:30 local (17:30 CET) Greece vs Israel - 21:45 local (20:45 CET)

    Just two unbeaten teams remain, as Türkiye went 5-0 in Group A, and Germany came through Group B action unscathed.

    The eight winners will advance to the Quarter-Finals, which will be played across two days on Tuesday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 10.

    The Semi-Finals are held two days later on Friday, September 12, before the the tournament concludes with the Third Place Game and Final on Sunday, September 14 when the champions will be crowned.
