    MUNICH (Germany) - Another exciting edition of the EuroCup Women Regular Season is about to drop and there are no fewer than 48 clubs all looking to make a splash when the action gets underway.

    With 12 different groups containing four teams, there's lots to digest ahead of what promises to be another memorable campaign.

    Who are the favorites to lead the way towards silverware, who are the underdogs, what is the key match-up in each group and which ballers are most likely to light it up?

    AEL Limassol WBC (CYP), Charnay Basket (FRA), HBA Helsinki (FIN), Zabiny Brno (CZE),
    Eliska Joklova is set to star with Zabiny Brno

    The favorite: Zabiny Brno (CZE) Key matchup: Charnay Basket (FRA) vs Zabiny Brno (CZE) The underdog: HBA Helsinki (FIN) The star: Eliska Joklova (Zabiny Brno) - The Czechia national team standout will do it all for her team to get them to the post-season. The guard will be a leader and difference-maker, delivering in the clutch moments, putting points on the board, creating for her teammates and leading on defense.

    Besiktas BOA (Türkiye), DSK Basketball Brandys (CZE), Maccabi Bnot Ashdod (ISR), Villeneuve d'Ascq LM (FRA),
    Rennia Davis could be a difference-maker for Besiktas BOA

    The favorite: Besiktas BOA (TUR) Key matchup: Villeneuve d'Ascq LM (FRA) vs Maccabi Bnot Ashdod (ISR) The underdog: DSK Basketball Brandys (CZE) The star: Rennia Davis (Besiktas BOA) - The last time Davis was in EuroCup Women she made positive waves and came up with some fine numbers in terms of scoring and also on the glass. With a nice passing range as well, plus some defensive tenacity, she should be a real force for the Istanbul side.

    Sedona Prince will likely put up seriously big numbers for Panathinaikos A.C

    The favorite: Panathinaikos A.C (GRE) Key matchup: Castors Braine (BEL) vs GEAS Basket (ITA) The underdog: ALBA Berlin (GER) The star: Sedona Prince (Panathinaikos A.C) - Capable of racking up eye-popping double-double displays, the center is back in the famous green of Panathinaikos with fans expecting a repeat of last season's heroics. She will be one of the leading scorers and rebounders once again in the tournament.

    BAXI Ferrol (ESP), CIMSA CBK Mersin (TUR), Olympiacos SFP (GRE), Sleza Wroclaw (POL)
    Kennedy Burke was the main thrust behind CIMSA CBK Mersin winning the 2026 title

She loves to get the job done on both ends of the floor. She will score, rebound and snap up steals for the defending champions.

    Amanda Zahui will be a big presence for Geek side Panathlitikos Sykeon

The Swedish forward will bring inside presence, her extended shooting range, vast know-how and big personality to the table for the Greek side.

    Ivana Dojkic will bring quality and experience for Umana Reyer Venezia

    The favorite: Umana Reyer Venezia (ITA) Key matchup: TTT Riga (LAT) vs Elitzur Ramle (ISR) The underdog: Universitatea Cluj (ROM) The star: lvana Dojkic (Umana Reyer Venezia) - The Croatian has excelled at the very highest level and her ability to put points on the board in a hurry will be in evidence again. She will enjoy taking responsibility in the biggest moments and will likely prove to be a game-winner on more than one occasion this season.

    Raneem Elgedawy was MVP of last year's Women's Basketball League Africa

    The favorite: Magnolia Basket Campobasso (ITA) Key matchup: KP Brno (CZE) vs Cinkarka Celje (SLO) The underdog: Nyon Basket Feminin (SUI) The star: Raneem Elgedawy (Cinkarke Celje) - The Egyptian frontcourt star is going to make a big splash in Celje this season and has already stared strongly. Elgedawy has a nice skill set, is physically strong and was MVP of the FIBA Women's Basketball League Africa (WBLA) last year.

    BCC Castelnuovo Scrivia (ITA), BCF Elfic Fribourg (SUI), Enea AZS Politechnika Poznan (POL), Landerneau Bretagne Basket (FRA)
    Feyonda Fitzgerald will fuel Enea AZS Politechnika Poznan in a big way

Her scoring contributions and clutch ability will be valuable once again for the Hungarian club, while she will organize defensively and show her leadership on the floor.

A fierce competitor, she has a super scoring touch and is already on course to become a global star.
