XALAPA (FIBA Americas League) – The coach of Capitanes de Arecibo, David Rosario, is hoping his team can string together three straight wins this weekend and return home to Puerto Rico with a FIBA Americas League title.

Rosario is now in Mexico putting his players through their paces ahead of Final Four games against Halcones UV Xalapa, Halcones Rojos de Veracruz (both Mexico) and Argentina’s Regatas Corrientes.

"This is a very important tournament because of what it means to us,” Rosario said to El Nuevo Dia.

“I say that we are in the best condition possible."

Capitanes have bolstered their line-up with the signing of Bryan Bracey.

"We have to think and win the three games, no less,” Rosario said.

“We always talk about winning and don't think about the other results.

“We are confident that we will have a great tournament.”
