PUR – Exhibition games on Dominican soil
SANTO DOMINGO (FIBA Americas Championship 2007) – Puerto Rico’s Men National team will be visiting Dominican Republic on July, for a couple of exhibition games, as part of their training schedule for the Pan-American Games, in Rio de Janeiro, and the FIBA Americas Championship 2007, in Las Vegas.
SANTO DOMINGO (FIBA Americas Championship 2007) – Puerto Rico’s Men National team will be visiting Dominican Republic on July, for a couple of exhibition games, as part of their training schedule for the Pan-American Games, in Rio de Janeiro, and the FIBA Americas Championship 2007, in Las Vegas.
“The games have been scheduled for the 11, 12, and 13 of July”, said the Dominican Basketball Federation (FEDEMBOL) President, Frank Herasme.
The cities of La Romana, Puerto Plata, and the capital city, Santo Domingo, have been tentatively named as venues for those games.
From Puerto Rico, everyone is expecting the participation of Carlos Arroyo (NBA), Jose Juan Barea (NBA), Peter John Ramos, Daniel Santiago (Spain), Larry Ayuso (Croatia), Rick Apodaca (Italy), Christian Dalmau (Poland), among others.
