LIMASSOL (Cyprus) - We've at last come to the ultimate gameday of the Group Phase at the FIBA EuroBasket 2025. Groups C and D in Limassol and Katowice are coming to their completion and we're waving goodbye to Cyprus and Poland.
With Group D settled, at least when it comes to Round of 16 qualification, Gameday 5 will see the last two teams advancing into the Final Phase from Limassol.

Group C: Who's advancing from Limassol?
It's down to the wire with Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Georgia all aiming for the last two qualification spots, next to Greece and Italy. There's a number of combinations, but let's just say that reigning champs Spain are in danger if they lose to Greece and Bosnia beats Georgia. All eyes will be on those two games with Greece also having something to play for; they're aiming for the win to secure top spot as Italy expect little trouble against Cyprus.

Group D: Three-way battle for top spot
With all four teams advancing from this group known, the stakes are still high in the last gameday with the final positions to be determined. The battle for the top spot is between Poland, France and Israel at 3-1 and Slovenia trailing at 2-2. Point difference could come into play and the Israel vs Slovenia game will be the one that answers a lot of questions. Luka Doncic takes on Deni Avdija with France facing Iceland and Igor Milicic's Poland coming into the Croatian coaches battle against Dario Gjergja's Belgium.
