    PR N°20 - Decision on the doping case of the player Kaspars Kambala

    GENEVA (FIBA) - The player Kaspars Kambala (Latvia), born on 13th December 1978, has been suspended by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) for a period of fourteen months, after testing positive for metabolites of cocaine, in compliance with FIBA's Internal Regulations governing doping control and the WADA Anti-Doping Code

    GENEVA (FIBA) - The player Kaspars Kambala (Latvia), born on 13th December 1978, has been suspended by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) for a period of fourteen months, after testing positive for metabolites of cocaine, in compliance with FIBA's Internal Regulations governing doping control and the WADA Anti-Doping Code.

    The sanction rendered by the FIBA Disciplinary Panel today, Friday 27th April, shall begin on 13th December 2006 (date of sample collection) and end on 12th February 2008.
