    PR N°18 - Decision on the doping case of the player Rodney A. Buford

    GENEVA (FIBA) - The player Rodney A. Buford (U.S.A.), born on 2nd November 1977, has been suspended by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) for a period of three months, after testing positive for Cannabis, in compliance with FIBA's Internal Regulations governing doping control and the WADA Anti-Doping Code

    GENEVA (FIBA) - The player Rodney A. Buford (U.S.A.), born on 2nd November 1977, has been suspended by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) for a period of three months, after testing positive for Cannabis, in compliance with FIBA's Internal Regulations governing doping control and the WADA Anti-Doping Code.

    The sanction rendered by the FIBA Disciplinary Panel today, Tuesday 24th April, shall begin on 2nd February 2007 and end on 1st May 2007.

    As provided for in FIBA's new Internal Regulations governing doping control, the above-mentioned sanction is the first one to be announced on www.fiba.basketball.
