PR N°11 - Accreditation gets underway for FIBA U19 World Championship Women
PUERTO MONTT (2011 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women) – The 2011 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women is fast approaching and with that in mind, the application process for media accreditation is now up and running. All media wishing to attend the Championship – to be held between 21 and 31 July in Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas, Chile – are required to fill in the online application form.
PUERTO MONTT (2011 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women) – The 2011 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women is fast approaching and with that in mind, the application process for media accreditation is now up and running.
All media wishing to attend the Championship – to be held between 21 and 31 July in Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas, Chile – are required to fill in the online application form. Access restricted, the registration portal is protected by the following password: CHILE2011.
Please note that the application process is an online service only; it will not be possible to obtain accreditation for this event by any other means. The form is available at www.fiba.basketball/chile2011-accreditation. The deadline for application is 18 June 2011. Requests received after this date will not be taken into consideration. We would like to remind you that the online registration form is an application only and accordingly does not guarantee accreditation to the event.
FIBA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) will inform all applicants of the success of their requests no later than 1st July 2011. For further information, please contact FIBA Communications at accreditation@fiba.com if you report to a media organisation with head offices outside of Chile.

We remind interested media that the accreditation process for the 2011 FIBA U19 World Championship for Men in Latvia is underway and deadline for applications is 31st May 2011.
