EILAT (Israel) - Teams will fight for the remaining tickets for this year's biggest event as the pools for the FIBA 3x3 World Cup Qualifier on May 6-7 have been revealed.

    EILAT (Israel) - Teams will fight for the remaining tickets for this year's biggest event as the pools for the FIBA 3x3 World Cup Qualifier on May 6-7 have been revealed. 

    Twelve teams - six in each gender - will compete for the last three men's and women's tickets to the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2023, which will take place in Vienna, Austria, on May 30-June 6. 

    The participating teams at the Eilat Ice Mall are the hosts (Israel), the best teams in the FIBA 3x3 Federation Ranking (on November 1, 2022) which are not yet qualified for the FIBA 3x3 World Cup and the Zone Cup runner-ups from the 2022 season no

    In the men's, host Israel will face tough tasks against Hungary and dangerous New Zealand, who won silver at last year's FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup and always perform better than their underdog status. 

    Asian powerhouse China, who won bronze at the Asia Cup 2022, headline Pool B against African heavyweight Rwanda and Caribbean nation Trinidad and Tobago.

    Pool B: China, Rwanda, Trinidad and Tobago 

    In the women's, Pool A looms as a titanic battle between Asia Cup 2022 silver medalist Australia, former World Cup champs Czech Republic and Africa Cup 2022 silver medalist Madagascar.

    The FIBA 3x3 World Cup Qualifier 2023 is on the road to the Paris 2024 Olympics. The winning teams (in each gender) will get a ticket to the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2023, where the three medalists qualify for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
